Expressions of Appreciation
To: Mary Savoy, Administrator – Thursday, February 13, 2025
Mrs. Savoy,
My mother, Mrs. Cleo Wiggins who has been at Stoddard for approximately 22 months, was recently in the hospital for 1 ½ weeks. Fortunately, she was discharged last night and is now back at Stoddard. I must tell you that you all at Stoddard are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!! This includes leadership, staff, and contract employees. So many of you checked on Mama almost daily to see how she was doing, telling me that you were praying for her and her family. Your expressions of love and support touched my heart and almost brought tears to my eyes. With all that’s going on around us in the country and the world today, it does my heart good to know people genuinely care this much and that you have no problem showing it. THANK YOU!
The day Mama was taken to the hospital many people immediately jumped into action showing their deep concern for her. Among other things, they quickly got an ambulance and made sure Mama was ready to go when the ambulance arrived. Many thanks to them!
Again, the entire time Mama was at the hospital, the Stoddard family called and/or texted. You all told me that you were praying for her and her family and for me to let her know that she was loved and missed. This gave us so much strength and encouragement to hear and see how much you care about us, and I want you to know the feeling is mutual. Every time I gave Mama a message from you all it always brought a big smile to her face. She couldn’t wait to get back to her Stoddard Family. And the day she asked, “when am I going home”, I knew how much she loved and missed you all. And, how she has truly transitioned into being a happy resident at Stoddard.
You are the BEST! I tell people how great you all are all the time and how much you care. Thanks to the Stoddard Family for all you do and for making a difference in my Mother’s life. It shows through all your efforts how much you are doing to make life better for the residents and staff and it is deeply appreciated!!! May God continue to bless you!
With Deep Gratitude,
Ann Everett
On behalf of Mrs. Cleo Wiggins and Family!
